Whether it is a weekend getaway, a business trip, or a more extended vacation, leaving your cat with me lets you rest easy, knowing that your furry friend will be in loving hands. A visit from the cat sitter is a lot more than refreshing your cat’s food and water bowls. It’s peace of mind! You go, they stay, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I’ll let them know they are safe and loved, in their home or mine.
I currently offer my services in Estepona and Marbella West at competitive rates. And my number one priority is to keep your cat happy in your absence.

Why does your cat need The Cat Sitter?
Essential care
Cats are very independent but they need some essential care and company. They shouldn't be left alone for periods of more than 24 hours.
Food and water
It isn’t recommended to leave a cat unattended for more than 24 hours. Not only may they run out of food and water, but it can cause unnecessary stress.
Social interaction
Believe it or not, cats are extremely social creatures and need human interaction. They will get bored at home all day and may become depressed when left alone too often or for too long.
Love and attention
I love cats and I’ll dedicate each visit to making your cat feel happy. Besides, I’ll be on alert. Should I notice that anything is not quite right, I’ll quickly get in touch with you and, when necessary, visit the veterinary clinic of choice.
Hi! My name is Sofia, I live in Selwo, Estepona, and (quite obviously) I am a cat lover and a cat mom myself.
With two cats of my own, running around the house or enjoying the sunny south of Spain all day, the idea of creating TheCatSitter.es has come to light.
I aim to provide your furry family with all the care and love they need while you're away. I want to become your cat's second best friend (I say second because you'll always be first, of course!).
In 2022 I got some official training in Feline Care and Behaviour from The Animal Care (London, UK).
While I am not a vet and therefore cannot recommend or perform special treatment to unwell cats, I have years of experience sharing life with these lovely felines, and I am committed to caring for yours as if they were my own. I have also worked as a volunteer for animal shelters in both Spain and India, which allowed me to interact with many cats with different personalities and needs.
When I am not cuddling with felines, you can probably find me working on my design business in front of my desktop!
